Derangers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamid el Ibrahimi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mamaar Yacine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maïssa Diss having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Noureddine Saïdi-Sief to make the kick off. Abdelhamid Bougherra charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdelhamid Bougherra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Noureddine Saïdi-Sief had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maïssa Diss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noureddine Saïdi-Sief in the 74th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Derangers's goal looked a bit too open when Mamaar Yacine came free, but Maïssa Diss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Mamaar Yacine ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maïssa Diss was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Lazhar Mimoun's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Ferhat Cohen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 94 minutes into the match, Derangers's goal looked a bit too open when Mamaar Yacine came free, but Maïssa Diss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
