With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferhat Cohen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mohammad Kaci Achiou hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Ferhat Cohen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karim Boulebda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fergani Boudiaf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ferhat Cohen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bogota fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! Rachid Azem shot the penalty kick right outside the post. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Mamaar Yacine was extremely unlucky when he, in the 59th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Noureddine Saïdi-Sief fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmed Saadane having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Karim Boulebda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferhat Cohen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fergani Boudiaf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Homewood's Fergani Boudiaf got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Bogota's zone, Karim Boulebda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferhat Cohen came out of the goal and Karim Boulebda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmed Saadane stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Noureddine Saïdi-Sief's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Fergani Boudiaf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferhat Cohen having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Homewood:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bogota:s goal. Chih Bourebbou shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Mamaar Yacine struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Ahmed Saadane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bogota. Mamaar Yacine took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmed Saadane. Ahmed Saadane dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ferhat Cohen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fergani Boudiaf, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
