Rachid Nabil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amar Amrouche, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute, Amar Amrouche reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rachid Nabil. The goal made the score 2-0. A collision led to Hartford FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Nourredine Benaouf hit a great ball. Ahmed Sadi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mouloud Chadl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Rachid Nabil successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amar Amrouche was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karim Drioueche during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Glen Rose AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Meniri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rachid Baba Ali Megharia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rachid Nabil. Glen Rose AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Abdellah Hadjadj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute.
