After taking down the ball on Glen Rose AFC's corner Noureddine Kraouche fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hameur Zouba quite easily take care of the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mouloud Chadl made a kick off. Hameur Zouba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Meniri in the 52nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abderraouf Hamdani got free with Rachid Nabil in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Mouloud Chadl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 92 minutes into the game, Glen Rose AFC's Robert Meniri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hameur Zouba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Glen Rose AFC fully deserved thier win.
