When Mouloud Chadl came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Glen Rose AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mouloud Chadl couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute, Mohamed Kraouche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Menad Bentifour managed to get in a good position for a shot. REDTAG's supporters rose to their feet, but Menad Bentifour was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rachid Nabil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tayeb Chadl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Nabil having to interfere. Salim Ben Khalidi kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, REDTAG's goal looked a bit too open when Mouloud Chadl came free, but Lakhdar Lamine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Menad Bentifour shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rachid Nabil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Menad Bentifour made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, REDTAG's Menad Bentifour sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rachid Nabil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tayeb Chadl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Nabil having to interfere. After some careless play in the REDTAG defense, Mouloud Chadl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lakhdar Lamine. The REDTAG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lakhdar Lamine should have stopped the shot. Tayeb Chadl blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rachid Nabil having to make a save. Menad Bentifour struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Rachid Nabil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for REDTAG. Tayeb Chadl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the game, Tayeb Bouazza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. REDTAG's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glen Rose AFC the free kick. After 88 played minutes, Glen Rose AFC's Noureddine Kraouche shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lakhdar Lamine came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Glen Rose AFC reached it. After a defensive mix-up in REDTAG's zone, Mouloud Chadl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lakhdar Lamine came out of the goal and Mouloud Chadl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. REDTAG were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Glen Rose AFC to leave the ground with a draw.
