Abdelaziz Sofiane was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 43 minutes into the game, Mohamed Hamdoud cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Fouad Ghazi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mohamed Hamdoud to strike the kick off in the second half. Medjadi Kouri kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Menad Zaoui got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abdelaziz Sofiane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Menad Zaoui in the 78th minute of the match. Joliet's Fouad Ghazi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohamed Hamdoud in the 79th minute of play. When Mouloud Bitat came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Joliet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mouloud Bitat couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Lake Ridge FC's goalkeeper Abdelaziz Sofiane, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mohamed Hamdoud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fouad Ghazi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tayeb Chaib, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Joliet had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
