Hameur Morceli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fouad Ghazi having to interfere. Mimoun Moussaoui made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Mouloud Bitat sent off a good shot on target. Mimoun Moussaoui made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mouloud Bitat in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Gloria Cba's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelaziz Djura came free, but Mimoun Moussaoui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gloria Cba's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mouloud Bitat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mimoun Moussaoui having to interfere. Hameur Morceli might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fouad Ghazi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hameur Morceli ran back to his position shaking his head. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hameur Morceli was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Gloria Cba getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Yazid Bahari hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Joliet's zone, Hameur Morceli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fouad Ghazi came out of the goal and Hameur Morceli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mimoun Moussaoui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Menad Zaoui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Gloria Cba getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Abderrahmane Harkouk hit a great ball. After having played for 65 minutes, Menad Zaoui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joliet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Menad Zaoui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 68th play minutes Menad Zaoui shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Mimoun Moussaoui and just under the crossbar into goal. 73 minutes into the game, Menad Zaoui cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Mimoun Moussaoui was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 76th match minute, Joliet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rabah Abbas to maneuver through the defense. Mimoun Moussaoui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Menad Zaoui in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute of the match Said Banouas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mimoun Moussaoui showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 82nd minute, Madjid El-Hadi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute Mouloud Bitat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mimoun Moussaoui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
