After a defensive mix-up in Gloria Cba's zone, Said Benbitour stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mimoun Moussaoui came out of the goal and Said Benbitour tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the match, Gloria Cba's goal looked a bit too open when Said Benbitour came free, but Mimoun Moussaoui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samir Brahami came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mimoun Moussaoui could save by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Los Ranchos de Albuquerque FC's Said Benbitour slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mimoun Moussaoui. That made the score 1-0 after 24 minutes of play. Hameur Morceli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Abdellah Medjadi Mekhloufi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, Gloria Cba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Aziz to maneuver through the defense. Gloria Cba's Hameur Morceli got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yazid Bahari in the 43rd minute of play forced Los Ranchos de Albuquerque FC's goalkeeper Abdellah Medjadi Mekhloufi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abderrahmane Harkouk hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute of the match, Abdelmalek Méniri got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mimoun Moussaoui was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 45 minutes into the game, Abderrahmane Harkouk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Said Benbitour blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mimoun Moussaoui having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Los Ranchos de Albuquerque FC's Zoheir Bouteflika got a free kick in the 97th minute.
