He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 68 played minutes Staunton got a freekick which was hit by Anther Saïfi. After a defensive mix-up in Staunton's zone, Yacine Zerara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohamed Mimoun came out of the goal and Yacine Zerara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute Mimoun Diafat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthar Madjer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 81 minutes, Mimoun Diafat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Staunton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mimoun Diafat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mimoun Diafat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthar Madjer having to interfere. Anthar Madjer made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Mehdi Djamel sent off a good shot on target. 88 minutes into the match, Charlotte Amalie West FC's goalkeeper Anthar Madjer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mehdi Djamel. Anthar Madjer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mimoun Diafat in the 92nd minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Charlotte Amalie West FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 99th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Anthar Madjer, was totally fooled by Staunton's Ahmed Ouyahia, who 101 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Staunton walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
