Benamar Beloufa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Mimoun having to interfere. Nordine Djeziri charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nordine Djeziri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Staunton booed when Mayflower Village was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nordine Djeziri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Mimoun Diafat reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yacine Bilal. The goal made the score 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Mayflower Village's zone, Mehdi Djamel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yacine Bilal came out of the goal and Mehdi Djamel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mayflower Village's Yacine Bilal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Mayflower Village from getting a goal against them. Mouloud Hadjadj kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Staunton's goalkeeper Mohamed Mimoun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mohamed Benyamina kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mohamed Benyamina during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Benamar Beloufa's late challenge caught a Staunton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benamar Beloufa helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 played minutes Mayflower Village got a freekick which was hit by Benamar Beloufa. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Kateb Lacen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mayflower Village's supporters rose to their feet, but Kateb Lacen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mohamed Mimoun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kateb Lacen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benamar Beloufa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Mohamed Mimoun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Staunton's Mohamed Benyamina got his second yellow card of the match in the 39th minute. The referee ordered Mohamed Benyamina off the ground. After a rather tough play, Staunton's Mohamed Benyamina got a free kick in the 40th minute. The supporters of Mayflower Village booed when Staunton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mimoun Diafat didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Kateb Lacen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mayflower Village's supporters rose to their feet, but Kateb Lacen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mohamed Mimoun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benamar Beloufa made a kick off. Kateb Lacen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Mimoun having to interfere. Mehdi Djamel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yacine Bilal having to make a save. During the 58th minute of the match Nordine Djeziri completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Nordine Djeziri a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. With a little luck, Staunton's Mohamed Mimoun got control of the ball when Kateb Lacen tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kateb Lacen in the 63rd minute of play forced Staunton's goalkeeper Mohamed Mimoun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tedj Daham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Mohamed Mimoun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kateb Lacen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Mohamed Mimoun made a huge save. Mohamed Mimoun stood somewhat misplaced when Kateb Lacen came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 67 minute. Staunton's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Kateb Lacen scored to the left of an out of position Mohamed Mimoun, making the score, 1-2. The supporters of Mayflower Village booed when Staunton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mimoun Diafat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismaïl Dziri was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 75th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 81st minute Halim Mezdad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Mimoun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Staunton's Mohamed Mimoun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Staunton from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Staunton's Mohamed Mimoun got control of the ball when Halim Mezdad tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kateb Lacen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Mohamed Mimoun made a huge save. If Halim Mezdad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kateb Lacen struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Mohamed Mimoun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mayflower Village. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kateb Lacen got free with Mohamed Mimoun in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 98th minute, Kateb Lacen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over Mayflower Village could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Staunton throughout the match.
