Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nadir Bensaoula made the kick off which started today's match. Signal Mountain AFC's Noureddine Djeballi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nadir Bensaoula in the 6th minute of play. If Abdelmalek Hanister had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arsenal's Abdelmalek Hanister got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mustapha Zaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belaid Bahari having to interfere. Signal Mountain AFC's Noureddine Djeballi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Signal Mountain AFC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nadir Bensaoula in the 24th minute of play forced Signal Mountain AFC's goalkeeper Noureddine Djeballi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Signal Mountain AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nadir Bensaoula came free, but Noureddine Djeballi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 34th minute by Abdelmalek Hanister got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Mohamed Ben Ahmed Boufroura charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mohamed Ben Ahmed Boufroura the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mohamed Ben Ahmed Boufroura hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Noureddine Djeballi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abdelmalek Hanister went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Signal Mountain AFC's Noureddine Djeballi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Signal Mountain AFC from getting a goal against them. Farès Guendouz charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Farès Guendouz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes Signal Mountain AFC got a freekick which was hit by Farès Guendouz. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mohamed Mamouni was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Mustapha Zaoui fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 56th minute, Amar Tahar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Abdelmalek Hanister had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute there was a penalty for Arsenal. Mohamed Ben Ahmed Boufroura stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Noureddine Djeballi. 3-1. Noureddine Djeballi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nadir Bensaoula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the game, Mahmoud Sellal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Signal Mountain AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arsenal the free kick. In the 73rd minute, Mahmoud Sellal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Nadir Bensaoula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Signal Mountain AFC defense, Nadir Bensaoula kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Noureddine Djeballi. The Signal Mountain AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Noureddine Djeballi should have stopped the shot. 84 minutes into the match, Signal Mountain AFC's Mohamed Mamouni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Belaid Bahari narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 88th minute Nadir Bensaoula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noureddine Djeballi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Signal Mountain AFC's zone, Nadir Bensaoula stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noureddine Djeballi came out of the goal and Nadir Bensaoula tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Arsenal's Nadir Bensaoula in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Signal Mountain AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 97th minute, Abdelmalek Hanister left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arsenal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Signal Mountain AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Arsenal.
