Gosnell AFC's Fodil Dib played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben Abbas in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohammed Abdelghani in the 20th minute of play forced Fort Shawnee's goalkeeper Mahmoud Mimoun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 played minutes Fort Shawnee got a freekick which was hit by Rachid Chaib. In the 33rd minute, Hamid Hamrouche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute Hamid Hamrouche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodil Dib saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Gosnell AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Hamid Hamrouche came free, but Fodil Dib reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ben Abbas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodil Dib having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Mohammed Abdelghani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 46 minutes, Abdellah Louahla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fort Shawnee and the Gosnell AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th match minute, Fort Shawnee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdellah Louahla to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Gosnell AFC's Mahmoud Mimoun threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mohammed Abdelghani, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Hamid Hamrouche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Fodil Dib made a huge save. If Hamid Hamrouche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Fort Shawnee getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Hakim Dahleb hit a great ball. Mohammed Abdelghani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 69 played minutes Fort Shawnee got a freekick which was hit by Ben Abbas. Khalida Bensaoula struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Mahmoud Mimoun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gosnell AFC. If Mohammed Abdelghani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Hakim Dahleb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fodil Dib showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ben Abbas in the 83rd minute of the match. Mahmoud Lamine Kab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
