Mohamed Dahar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nordine Sami Yachir in the 7th minute of the match. Mokdad Ben Khalidi hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, West Newton FC's Benamar Chaouchi tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Cheb Cavalli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Yazid Benhabiles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fodil Bentifour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehdi Belfaa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Dahar having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, West Newton FC's Benamar Chaouchi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yazid Benhabiles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hakim Madjer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Dahar having to interfere. When Nordine Sami Yachir came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Twitter Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nordine Sami Yachir couldn't finish the play. After 29 played minutes West Newton FC got a freekick which was hit by Ahmed Drid. Nordine Sami Yachir struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Fodil Bentifour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nordine Sami Yachir stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cheb Cavalli showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. In the 71st minute, Bouabdellah Timsit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Mehdi Belfaa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Twitter Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehdi Belfaa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mohamed Dahar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 86th match minute, West Newton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benamar Chaouchi to maneuver through the defense. Fodil Bentifour could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Yazid Benhabiles made a huge save. Twitter Football Club's Yazid Benhabiles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cheb Cavalli in the 93rd minute of play. After 94 minutes of play Twitter Football Club's Amar Bensaïd was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 94th minute, Amar Bensaïd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Twitter Football Club's zone, Cheb Cavalli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yazid Benhabiles came out of the goal and Cheb Cavalli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cheb Cavalli in the 98th minute of play forced Twitter Football Club's goalkeeper Yazid Benhabiles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
