Harrisonville's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Edgerton FC fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Edgerton FC's Amar Asma looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Daniel Aliche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amar Asma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Djamal Djura having to interfere. In the 24th minute Mustapha Chaib shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jussef Ben Zaoui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Souad Bougherra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jussef Ben Zaoui having to interfere. Noureddine Kouri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the game, one of Harrisonville:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Edgerton FC a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fodil Zenia, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Harrisonville's Djamal Djura. 0-2. Mustapha Chaib received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jussef Ben Zaoui came out and tried to block the shot, but Mustapha Chaib slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 40th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chadli Said during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th minute, Chadli Said hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amar Asma to make the kick off. Djamal Djura was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Amar Asma showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 67 minute of play. Edgerton FC's Jussef Ben Zaoui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Souad Bougherra in the 87th minute of play. Edgerton FC's Amar Asma got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
