The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mourad Bouzid struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Tayeb Gaouaoui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Little Rock FC. After 13 played minutes Delavan Lake AFC got a freekick which was hit by Chaba Brahami. After having played for 15 minutes, Madjid Maillot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Delavan Lake AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Madjid Maillot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nourredine Boutella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdel Zidane having to interfere. Delavan Lake AFC's Tayeb Gaouaoui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mourad Bouzid in the 27th minute of play. Nourredine Menad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tayeb Gaouaoui having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Larbi Tahar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Little Rock FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Little Rock FC's Mourad Bouzid in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Delavan Lake AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 47th minute, Chaba Brahami hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nourredine Menad in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tayeb Gaouaoui prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half Little Rock FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mourad Bouzid stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nourredine Menad got free with Tayeb Gaouaoui in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Madjid Maillot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute, Mourad Bouzid got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 0-2 became the score in the 75th minute when Mourad Bouzid elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Nourredine Menad in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tayeb Gaouaoui, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience was convinced that Mourad Bouzid's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tayeb Gaouaoui was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Delavan Lake AFC's Tayeb Gaouaoui proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Delavan Lake AFC from getting a goal against them. The Delavan Lake AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Little Rock FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
