After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Fodil Boumedienne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Ouyahia in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Farès Bensaoula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Mohamed Ouyahia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodil Boumedienne was relentless in the 91st minute of the game.
