In the 15th match minute, Owego was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karim Khaled to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Mohamed Ouyahia managed to get in a good position for a shot. MADRID FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohamed Ouyahia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Medjadi Hadjadj breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Karim Khaled had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. MADRID FC's Mohamed Ouyahia got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Owego's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Ouyahia came free, but Medjadi Hadjadj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Medjadi Hadjadj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoine Adjani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half MADRID FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Medjadi Hadjadj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohamed Ouyahia, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Medjadi Hadjadj successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 59 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when MADRID FC's Mohamed Ouyahia fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Medjadi Hadjadj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoine Adjani in the 61st minute of play. The supporters of MADRID FC booed when Owego was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelhamid Bouchemla didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute of the match MADRID FC got a corner. Owego's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. MADRID FC's Tahar Meriem was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Medjadi Hadjadj in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Owego's Bouabdellah Boudiaf got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Antoine Adjani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute of the match Tahar Meriem sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Medjadi Hadjadj skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Owego's zone, Antoine Adjani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Medjadi Hadjadj came out of the goal and Antoine Adjani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mohamed Ouyahia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Medjadi Hadjadj when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Mohamed Ouyahia managed to get in a good position for a shot. MADRID FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohamed Ouyahia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Medjadi Hadjadj breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Medjadi Hadjadj made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Mohamed Ouyahia sent off a good shot on target. MADRID FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
