The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mohamed Cherrad helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd minute, Mohamed Cherrad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chih Amirouche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Rabah Maroc made a huge save. In the 24th minute, Abd el Benzine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boubekeur Messaoud in the 27th minute of play forced Long Branch FC's goalkeeper Rabah Maroc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Boubekeur Messaoud to make the kick off. When Boubekeur Messaoud came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Macclenny AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boubekeur Messaoud couldn't finish the play. Macclenny AFC's Abdelmalek Said played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohamed Cherrad in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Long Branch FC's Mohamed Cherrad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdelmalek Said narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 69thth minute of the game Boubekeur Messaoud who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Long Branch FC's Rabah Maroc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Ahmed Reda Daham notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Macclenny AFC's Abdelmalek Said. Abdelmalek Said was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rabah Maroc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chih Amirouche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rabah Maroc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boubekeur Messaoud in the 77th minute of the match. Chih Amirouche might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rabah Maroc. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chih Amirouche ran back to his position shaking his head. Rabah Maroc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boubekeur Messaoud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
