In the 28th minute Ahmed Feraoun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yazid Oussar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Muhammad Benarbia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alain Macias was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Battle Mountain AFC's Mahieddine Djamel got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ahmed Feraoun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yazid Oussar having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustapha Yacef in the 70th minute of play forced Battle Mountain AFC's goalkeeper Yazid Oussar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Bouabdellah Assad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Battle Mountain AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bouabdellah Assad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alain Macias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abdelhamid Ben Khalidi during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th minute, Abdelhamid Ben Khalidi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alain Macias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bouabdellah Assad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
