An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Abrika in the 13th minute of play forced Elk Plain AFC's goalkeeper El Ulansi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Leon Abrika had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karim Mansouri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chakib Bezzaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karim Mansouri's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Leon Abrika struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. El Ulansi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marlboro. 28 minutes into the game, Abdelhamid Boulebda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elk Plain AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marlboro the free kick. In the 28th minute, Abdelhamid Boulebda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fodil Megharia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but El Ulansi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Chakib Bezzaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karim Mansouri in the 35th minute of the match. Chakib Bezzaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Djamel Hima, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Elk Plain AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
