Boubekeur Derrida received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. El Rimitti came out and tried to block the shot, but Boubekeur Derrida slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. In the 15th minute Boubekeur Derrida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but El Rimitti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chester Township AFC's Mohamed Zeghdoud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Djamel Megharia in the 18th minute of play. Mohamed Zeghdoud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Djamel Megharia in the 19th minute of play. If Rachid Semghoun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rachid Semghoun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Zeghdoud having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Safy Radjef got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Chester Township AFC booed when Emporium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fadhil Hadj Aïssa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Boubekeur Derrida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Chester Township AFC's Boubekeur Derrida nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. El Rimitti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Boubekeur Derrida was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Djamel Megharia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Emporium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Djamel Megharia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Safy Radjef's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but El Rimitti was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 61st minute of the match, Djamel Megharia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mohamed Zeghdoud saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Emporium's Rachid Semghoun got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Djamel Megharia fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mohamed Zeghdoud, passed just outside the right post. Mohamed Zeghdoud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Djamel Megharia in the 69th minute of play. Tahar Adjani charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tahar Adjani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Chester Township AFC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Tahar Adjani hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Djamel Megharia in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mohamed Zeghdoud saved Chester Township AFC from getting behind. Mohamed Zeghdoud didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rachid Semghoun went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 83 minutes into the match, Chester Township AFC's goalkeeper Mohamed Zeghdoud had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rachid Semghoun. Chester Township AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Rachid Semghoun scored to the left of an out of position Mohamed Zeghdoud, making the score, 2-2. After 87 minutes, Safy Radjef made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Emporium's El Rimitti tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 95 played minutes Emporium got a freekick which was hit by Abd el Karim Belkassem. If Safy Radjef had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Chester Township AFC had won after a very even match.
