Spectators: 6712 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rabah Hanister got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Woodcliff Lake was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Djabir Dib to maneuver through the defense. 4 minutes into the match, Abderrachid Said notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Woodcliff Lake's Slimane Souakri. Slimane Souakri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mehdi Merah's late challenge caught a South Middletown AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mehdi Merah helped the player get up and apologised. South Middletown AFC's Abderrachid Said got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. South Middletown AFC's Mohammad Kaci Hima got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Abderrachid Said sped through Woodcliff Lake's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Slimane Souakri. 18 minutes into the match, South Middletown AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rabah Hanister came free, but Knodi Djeballi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, South Middletown AFC's goalkeeper Knodi Djeballi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mehdi Merah. Mehdi Merah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Knodi Djeballi came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Woodcliff Lake's Rabah Hanister. But to his dismay, Rabah Hanister quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 31 played minutes South Middletown AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mohammad Kaci Hima. Karim Djamel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 32nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Mohammad Maroc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Slimane Souakri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abderrachid Said, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Knodi Djeballi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rabah Hanister, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mehdi Merah might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Knodi Djeballi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mehdi Merah ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Mohammad Kaci Hima managed to get in a good position for a shot. South Middletown AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohammad Kaci Hima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Slimane Souakri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Woodcliff Lake booed when South Middletown AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohammad Kaci Hima didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rabah Hanister struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Knodi Djeballi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Woodcliff Lake. Fergani Soltani kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Knodi Djeballi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehdi Merah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, Woodcliff Lake's Rabah Hanister sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Knodi Djeballi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 86th minute Mehdi Merah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Knodi Djeballi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. South Middletown AFC's Abderrachid Said got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 95 played minutes South Middletown AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mohammad Kaci Hima. South Middletown AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
