Mohamed Derrida didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mimoun Djeballi went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Samir Ben Khalidi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Medjani, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Mimoun Djeballi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute Daniel Medjani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samir Ben Khalidi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute Abdelmalek Zerguelaine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Derrida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mohamed Derrida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdelmalek Zerguelaine in the 23rd minute of play. Mimoun Djeballi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ali Taha kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Abdelmalek Zerguelaine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Derrida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Abdelmalek Zerguelaine reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mohamed Derrida. The goal made the score 2-0. 39 minutes into the match, Greater Northdale FC's Mimoun Djeballi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mohamed Derrida narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Samir Ben Khalidi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmed Reda Mansouri made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Abdelmalek Zerguelaine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Daniel Medjani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samir Ben Khalidi. Greater Northdale FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Medjani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 61 minutes into the game, Mimoun Djeballi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Mohamed Derrida was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 65 minutes, Ahmed Reda Mansouri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taylors FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmed Reda Mansouri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chadli Boulahfane kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Ahmed Madjer charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ahmed Madjer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th minute, Ahmed Madjer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samir Ben Khalidi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmed Reda Mansouri in the 70th minute of the match. Samir Ben Khalidi made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Daniel Medjani sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Faouzi Ramdani during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 75 played minutes Greater Northdale FC got a freekick which was hit by Faouzi Ramdani. In the 84th minute, Mimoun Djeballi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Greater Northdale FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 5-2 when Faouzi Ramdani sped through Taylors FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mohamed Derrida. In the 95th match minute, Greater Northdale FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chadli Boulahfane to maneuver through the defense. If Abdelmalek Zerguelaine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Greater Northdale FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
