Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Farid Amri started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Muhammad Brahimi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmed Djaout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faouzi Djebbour hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. If Mustapha Merah-Benida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blue Stars FC's Ahmed Djaout played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muhammad Brahimi in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Blue Stars FC's Lazhar Al-Jazairia got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute, Mustapha Merah-Benida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmed Djaout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muhammad Brahimi, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Lazhar Al-Jazairia kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Muhammad Brahimi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Whitemarsh Island's Mustapha Merah-Benida got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Farid Amri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmed Djaout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muhammad Brahimi in the 33rd minute of play. Karim Amirouche blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmed Djaout having to make a save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Muhammad Brahimi was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Muhammad Brahimi in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmed Djaout saved Blue Stars FC from getting behind. Ahmed Djaout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muhammad Brahimi in the 59th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Mustapha Merah-Benida cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ahmed Djaout was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 65th minute, Mustapha Yahia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sid Ahmed Lacarne kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. If Farid Amri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute Muhammad Brahimi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmed Djaout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mustapha Merah-Benida came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Whitemarsh Island fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mustapha Merah-Benida couldn't finish the play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
