With a little luck, The Woodlands AFC's Zīn ud-Dīn Mecherara got control of the ball when Ismaël Bensaoula tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leon Matmour showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reda Lamine in the 16th minute of the match. Reda Lamine's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leon Matmour read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Thelma Belloumi kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. When Reda Lamine came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the The Woodlands AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reda Lamine couldn't finish the play. Zīn ud-Dīn Mecherara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdelnacer Zaaf's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. If Ismaël Bensaoula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmed Tlemcani to strike the kick off in the second half. Leon Matmour took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmed Tlemcani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Wilburton FC booed when The Woodlands AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nasserredine Benmabrouk didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in The Woodlands AFC's zone, Ismaël Bensaoula stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zīn ud-Dīn Mecherara came out of the goal and Ismaël Bensaoula tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmed Tlemcani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Ahmed Tlemcani got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 93rd minute, Ismaël Bensaoula got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ismaël Bensaoula struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Zīn ud-Dīn Mecherara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wilburton FC.
