The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the game, Abdelhamid Malek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. North Crossett AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Herrin the free kick. After 15 played minutes North Crossett AFC got a freekick which was hit by Abdelhamid Malek. Abdelhamid Feraoun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ismaïl Bitat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmed Reda Adjaoud came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Herrin's Ismaïl Bitat. But to his dismay, Ismaïl Bitat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Brahim Abbas struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Ali Ghazi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for North Crossett AFC. A collision led to Herrin getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Mustapha Mammeri hit a great ball. When Brahim Abbas came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the North Crossett AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brahim Abbas couldn't finish the play. Ali Ghazi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zīn ud-Dīn Fadhil Mohamed, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Ali Ghazi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zīn ud-Dīn Fadhil Mohamed in the 48th minute of play. Herrin's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
