In the 6th match minute, Tokyo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Mhenni to maneuver through the defense. Mateo Clemente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Boudjemaa Fari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tokyo FC's Mateo Clemente got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Hameur Yahia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chadli Fari in the 15th minute of play forced Tokyo FC's goalkeeper Mohamed Abdessalam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Clemente in the 17th minute of play forced Fernway FC's goalkeeper Boudjemaa Fari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mohamed Abdessalam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chadli Fari in the 21st minute of the match. Boudjemaa Fari didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mateo Clemente went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 32 minutes, Farid Madouni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fernway FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Farid Madouni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mateo Clemente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Mateo Clemente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tokyo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateo Clemente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boudjemaa Fari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Tokyo FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Bogdan Nestor hit a great ball. Dan Maxell hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mateo Clemente to strike the kick off in the second half. 61 minutes into the match, Tokyo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Farid Madouni came free, but Mohamed Abdessalam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateo Clemente scored 1-3 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boudjemaa Fari, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 71 minutes, Chadli Fari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fernway FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chadli Fari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Fernway FC's zone, Toufik Bessou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boudjemaa Fari came out of the goal and Toufik Bessou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Mateo Clemente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mateo Clemente's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Boudjemaa Fari firmly grabbed it by the left post. The Tokyo FC fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Tokyo FC's Mateo Clemente looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateo Clemente got free with Boudjemaa Fari in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Jean Mhenni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tokyo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jean Mhenni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boudjemaa Fari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mateo Clemente might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Boudjemaa Fari. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mateo Clemente ran back to his position shaking his head. Tokyo FC played a much better game than Fernway FC and deserved their victory. The Fernway FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
