In the 4th minute Brahim Hadjar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cheb Barbarossa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yasmina Bensaoula hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 15 played minutes, South Hempstead AFC's Amine Sennaoui shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cheb Barbarossa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in South Hempstead AFC reached it. Ali Ghozali hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. When Brahim Hadjar came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the South Hempstead AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brahim Hadjar couldn't finish the play. Ahmed Zaaf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohamed Dahar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mohamed Dahar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmed Zaaf having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Fort Thomas's zone, Rachid Mami stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cheb Barbarossa came out of the goal and Rachid Mami tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Brahim Hadjar came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the South Hempstead AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brahim Hadjar couldn't finish the play. 45 minutes into the match, Fort Thomas's Abdelmalek Zahouania sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmed Zaaf narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Abdelmalek Zahouania recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mohamed Dahar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Brahim Hadjar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fort Thomas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave South Hempstead AFC the free kick. Yasmina Bensaoula kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. South Hempstead AFC's Brahim Hadjar got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Abdelmalek Zahouania had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdelmalek Zahouania received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ahmed Zaaf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
