Spectators: 6711 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1711, VIP seats: 0) Hanahan's Nourredine Merah-Benida started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Halim Zenia came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Lynbrook FC's Ahmed Mezdad. But to his dismay, Ahmed Mezdad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 7th minute, Nourredine Merah-Benida ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mohammed Ahmed Ben Madjer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Halim Raho kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Hanahan's zone, Mustapha Hamid Brahima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Halim Zenia came out of the goal and Mustapha Hamid Brahima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mohammed Ahmed Ben Madjer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nourredine Merah-Benida in the 16th minute of play. Mohammed Ahmed Ben Madjer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nourredine Merah-Benida in the 18th minute of the match. If Mustapha Hamid Brahima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nourredine Merah-Benida came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Hanahan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nourredine Merah-Benida couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Nourredine Merah-Benida managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hanahan's supporters rose to their feet, but Nourredine Merah-Benida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mohammed Ahmed Ben Madjer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 30 minutes, Salah Belkacem mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lynbrook FC and the Hanahan players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lynbrook FC's Salah Belkacem got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 32ndth minute of the game René Chaouchi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lynbrook FC's Mohammed Ahmed Ben Madjer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 35 minutes of play Lynbrook FC's Salah Belkacem was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Lynbrook FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Salah Belkacem hit a great ball. Ahmed Mezdad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Halim Zenia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mohammed Ahmed Ben Madjer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nourredine Merah-Benida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmed Mezdad to make the kick off. Ahmed Mezdad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute Nourredine Merah-Benida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohammed Ahmed Ben Madjer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mohammed Ahmed Ben Madjer made an important save on a dangerous shot by René Chaouchi in the 73rd minute. René Chaouchi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Mohammed Ahmed Ben Madjer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Halim Zenia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmed Mezdad, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
