After a defensive mix-up in Hanahan's zone, Ahmed Mansouri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Halim Zenia came out of the goal and Ahmed Mansouri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute of the match, Ahmed Mansouri tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Halim Zenia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 64 played minutes Hanahan got a freekick which was hit by Chadli Boutella. In the 65th minute, Faouzi Sellal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes into the match, Hanahan's goalkeeper Halim Zenia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdelhamid Chedda. 68 minutes into the game, Halim Raho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hanahan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New Brighton the free kick.
