The supporters of New Brighton booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mouloud Hamruche didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Yacine Ahmed stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fawzi Medjani came out of the goal and Yacine Ahmed tried to chip the ball over his head. Nadir Belkacem kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After 23 played minutes Ahmed Mansouri rounded Denmark's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdelhamid Chedda got free with Fawzi Medjani in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Denmark's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ahmed Mansouri 30 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Mourad Mohand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th play minute Abdelhamid Chedda came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fawzi Medjani. 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Ahmed Mansouri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fawzi Medjani having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ahmed Larfaoui's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abdelaziz Heddou was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Abdelaziz Heddou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mourad Mohand in the 80th minute. Cheb Apap's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. New Brighton's Abdelaziz Heddou proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save New Brighton from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Nadir Belkacem hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Abdelhamid Chedda made a precise shot to the right of Fawzi Medjani. Denmark's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. New Brighton were victorious despite being under pressure from Denmark for much of the match.
