The referee ignored South Beach FC's protests and gave Mehdi Moussa a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Morrisville AFC booed when South Beach FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehdi Moussa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Hameur Abdenouz made a precise shot to the right of Karim Brahami. Morrisville AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Morrisville AFC's Karim Brahami played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hameur Abdenouz in the 34th minute of play. Abdelnasser Zarabi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abdel Brahami having to make a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
