The audience was convinced that Abdulhamid Bensaoula's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tedj Saci was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. In the 45th minute, Cherif Abdelghani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fateh Zidane to make the kick off. In the 75th minute of the match Abdel Ahmed sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lakhdar Aziz skillfully saved the ball. Rockville Centre's Lakhdar Aziz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fateh Zidane in the 77th minute of play. Cherif Abdelghani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fateh Zidane succeeded in the game's 80th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. In the 82nd match minute, Great Neck AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Said Amsallem to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, Great Neck AFC's Cherif Abdelghani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lakhdar Aziz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Rockville Centre's goal looked a bit too open when Fateh Zidane came free, but Lakhdar Aziz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Fateh Zidane's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lakhdar Aziz was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Malek in the 92nd minute of play forced Rockville Centre's goalkeeper Lakhdar Aziz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
