The referee showed Maïssa Maroc the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Knodi Amirouche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Tedj Saci made a huge save. Fateh Zidane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdel Ali having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Cherif Abdelghani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abdel Ali. Tamuning FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cherif Abdelghani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Belmadi Badis was the one to do the kick off. Great Neck AFC's Tedj Saci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belmadi Badis in the 53rd minute of play. With a little luck, Tamuning FC's Abdel Ali got control of the ball when Cherif Abdelghani tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 61 minutes, Belmadi Badis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tamuning FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Belmadi Badis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fateh Zidane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdel Ali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fateh Zidane in the 67th minute of play. Ahmed Reda Oussar kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. A hard shot 70 in the game by Cherif Abdelghani from a close distance when the talented Abdel Ali managed to make a qualified save. Tamuning FC's players were relieved. Fateh Zidane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdel Ali having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Fateh Zidane dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Abdel Ali, 1-2. In the 86thth minute of the game Belmadi Badis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Great Neck AFC's Tedj Saci was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fateh Zidane blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abdel Ali having to make a save. Belmadi Badis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tedj Saci having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Great Neck AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
