Lakhdar Aziz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abdel Ali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hachemi El-Hadi, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Lakhdar Aziz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Knodi Amirouche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tamuning FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! A collision led to Tamuning FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Maïssa Maroc hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the game, Hachemi El-Hadi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Abdel Ali was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Tamuning FC's Abdel Ali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hachemi El-Hadi in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tamuning FC's Maïssa Maroc got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Abdulhamid Bensaoula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdel Ali having to interfere. Abdel Ali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fodil Mouzaoui, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 65th match minute, Tamuning FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dida Bitat to maneuver through the defense. Tamuning FC's Abdel Ali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdulhamid Bensaoula in the 67th minute of play. Maïssa Maroc kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Lakhdar Aziz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belmadi Badis in the 80th minute of play. Karim Bouzid, 91 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Tamuning FC's zone, Abdulhamid Bensaoula stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdel Ali came out of the goal and Abdulhamid Bensaoula tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tamuning FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
