An unexpectedly hard shot by Slimane Benmabrouk in the 25th minute of play forced Etna FC's goalkeeper Tayeb Abdenouz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faouzi Mezair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frantz Hamid Brahima having to interfere. When Nordine Abdenouz fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Faouzi Mezair managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 38th minute Slimane Benmabrouk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tayeb Abdenouz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 minutes of play, Larchmont FC's Yazid Ben Bella made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
