Van Horn AFC's Abdelmalek Hadjadj got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cheikha Hamdani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Farès Kafi, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 15th minute, Hocine Arrache sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Van Horn AFC's Cheikha Hamdani didn't even have to move. A hard shot 17 in the game by Farid Skif from a close distance when the talented Cheikha Hamdani managed to make a qualified save. Van Horn AFC's players were relieved. Fodil Boutabout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yacine Mazzid, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 28 minutes in the game, Farès Kafi fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cheikha Hamdani having to interfere. Van Horn AFC's Cheikha Hamdani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Van Horn AFC from getting a goal against them. If Farès Kafi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Van Horn AFC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Abdelnasser Hasni hit a great ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fodil Zitouni to strike the kick off in the second half. Farid Skif's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cheikha Hamdani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. After 57 minutes of play, Pleasure Ridge AFC's Farès Kafi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cheikha Hamdani was left in no man's land by his defense there! 61 minutes into the game, Pleasure Ridge AFC's Farid Skif nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cheikha Hamdani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 66 minutes into the match, Van Horn AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Farid Skif came free, but Cheikha Hamdani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Farid Skif fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cheikha Hamdani having to interfere. When Farid Skif came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Pleasure Ridge AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Farid Skif couldn't finish the play. Abdelhamid El-Ouafi kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Amar Mihoubi's late challenge caught a Pleasure Ridge AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amar Mihoubi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute, Farès Kafi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cheikha Hamdani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Farid Skif, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Cheikha Hamdani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Farid Skif in the 85th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Farès Kafi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pleasure Ridge AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Farès Kafi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cheikha Hamdani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pleasure Ridge AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
