If Belaid Aboulker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karim Nasri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Kamel Kouidri made the kick off in the second half. Kamel Badis kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. If Soltani Djamel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. François Ben Khalidi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lakhdar Kouri in the 72nd minute of play. With his leg Karim Nasri managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when South Boston AFC's Soltani Djamel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Fort Plain's Noureddine Belhagj got a free kick in the 80th minute. Fort Plain's Kamel Kouidri got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 88 minutes, Soltani Djamel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. South Boston AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Soltani Djamel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Fort Plain's goal looked a bit too open when Belaid Aboulker came free, but Karim Nasri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The South Boston AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
