Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) Ferhat Harkouk made the kick off and thus started the match. Karim Mammeri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lakhdar Djebar having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ferhat Harkouk kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lakhdar Djebar. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Tavares was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamid Medaci to maneuver through the defense. Lakhdar Djebar acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 17th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rabah Halimi. Fouad Morceli lost his temper 22 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The goalkeeper, Lakhdar Djebar, was totally fooled by Nephi AFC's Rabah Halimi, who 24 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a rather tough play, Tavares's Jussef Ben Cavalli got a free kick in the 27th minute. With an all-out effort, Nephi AFC's Lakhdar Djebar threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ferhat Harkouk, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Ahmed Mehenni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karim Mammeri's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Lakhdar Djebar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Ferhat Harkouk kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lakhdar Djebar. That made the score 3-0 in the 42 minute of play. Cheikha Bahari's late challenge caught a Tavares's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cheikha Bahari helped the player get up and apologised. After 45 played minutes Nephi AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cheikha Bahari. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmed Mehenni made a kick off. Tavares's Lakhdar Djebar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferhat Harkouk in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th match minute, Tavares was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yasmina Zouba to maneuver through the defense. Karim Mammeri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lakhdar Djebar having to interfere. Mohammad Aït Salem charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 73 played minutes Tavares got a freekick which was hit by Ben Hindi. Nephi AFC's Ferhat Harkouk got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ferhat Harkouk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Karim Mammeri came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Nephi AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karim Mammeri couldn't finish the play. Lakhdar Djebar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmed Taha in the 86th minute of play. Ben Hindi charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ben Hindi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Tavares getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Ben Hindi hit a great ball. Ahmed Mehenni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jussef Ben Cavalli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamid Zeghdoud having to interfere. In the 94th match minute, Nephi AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cheikha Bahari to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Ahmed Mehenni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hamid Zeghdoud was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Lakhdar Djebar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferhat Harkouk, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
