Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Nephi AFC's Ferhat Harkouk started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mohamed Malek kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Hocine Hanister fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamid Zeghdoud having to interfere. After some careless play in the Broomfield defense, Karim Mammeri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mansour Hadj Aïssa. The Broomfield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mansour Hadj Aïssa should have stopped the shot. Karim Mammeri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the game, Rabah Halimi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nephi AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Broomfield the free kick. After a rather tough play, Nephi AFC's Rabah Halimi got a free kick in the 16th minute. Hocine Hanister received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Hamid Zeghdoud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 31 minutes, Karim Mammeri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nephi AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karim Mammeri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nephi AFC's Karim Mammeri got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 40 minutes, Ahmed Taha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nephi AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmed Taha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mansour Hadj Aïssa was a little too slow when Ferhat Harkouk got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rabah Mazzid to make the kick off. Hamid Zeghdoud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rabah Mazzid in the 52nd minute of the match. The supporters of Broomfield booed when Nephi AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmed Taha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hamid Zeghdoud was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Rabah Mazzid capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rabah Mazzid really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 57th minute, Nephi AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hocine Hanister fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Mohamed Malek hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Nephi AFC's Hamid Zeghdoud proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Nephi AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 65th minute, Ahmed Taha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nephi AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 69thth minute of the game Rabah Mazzid who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nephi AFC's Hamid Zeghdoud was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Rabah Mazzid kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hamid Zeghdoud. That made the score 3-2 in the 75 minute of play. In the 79th match minute, Nephi AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abderrahmane Allalou to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Broomfield's Ferhat Bruel got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute of the match Rabah Halimi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mansour Hadj Aïssa skillfully saved the ball. Rabah Mazzid blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hamid Zeghdoud having to make a save. Hocine Hanister received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Hamid Zeghdoud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
