Spectators: 6701 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Djamal Belloumi kicked off to start the match. Djamal Belloumi struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Amar Sakhri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sedge Garden FC. Nasserredine Saïd-Guerni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Amar Sakhri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Djamal Belloumi notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Maywood AFC's Amar Sakhri. Amar Sakhri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ahmed Sam's late challenge caught a Maywood AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmed Sam helped the player get up and apologised. Ahmed Sam kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Amar Sakhri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Djamal Belloumi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Nasserredine Saïd-Guerni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sedge Garden FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nasserredine Saïd-Guerni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amar Sakhri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st minute, Sedge Garden FC's Ahmed Sam seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ahmed Sam the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sedge Garden FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ahmed Sam had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sedge Garden FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Amrani Daham, was totally fooled by Maywood AFC's Kamel Teissier, who 33 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Amrani Daham made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Nadir Amri sent off a good shot on target. Nadir Amri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Amrani Daham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmed Banouas scored 2-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amrani Daham, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Amrani Daham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nadir Amri in the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute Nadir Amri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amrani Daham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Amar Boniche was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sedge Garden FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maywood AFC the free kick. In the 58th minute, Amar Boniche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ismaïl Ramdane fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sedge Garden FC's protests and gave Ismaïl Ramdane a yellow card for diving instead. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sedge Garden FC! The referee gave Maywood AFC a penalty, 61 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kamel Teissier, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sedge Garden FC's Amrani Daham. 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nadir Amri in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amrani Daham prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ahmed Banouas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Amrani Daham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nadir Amri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amrani Daham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmed Banouas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amrani Daham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nadir Amri in the 76th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Nadir Amri sped through Sedge Garden FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Amrani Daham. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Nadir Amri put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Amrani Daham. Amrani Daham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nadir Amri in the 91st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sedge Garden FC's Amar Boniche got a free kick in the 91st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Maywood AFC's zone, Nasserredine Saïd-Guerni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amar Sakhri came out of the goal and Nasserredine Saïd-Guerni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 99 played minutes Maywood AFC got a freekick which was hit by Menad Bouziane. Maywood AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sedge Garden FC for a fine match.
