Spectators: 6691 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1691, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Djamal Belloumi started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Chewelah AFC's goalkeeper Hocine Mansouri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nasserredine Saïd-Guerni. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toufik Achiou in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amrani Daham saved Sedge Garden FC from getting behind. When Chewelah AFC's Toufik Achiou in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sedge Garden FC's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Toufik Achiou in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amrani Daham prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amar Boniche during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sedge Garden FC's Amar Boniche got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 30th minute, Chewelah AFC's Lakhdar Boudjedra seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lakhdar Boudjedra the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Chewelah AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lakhdar Boudjedra had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 29th minute, one of Chewelah AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chewelah AFC. After 35 minutes, Slimane Aboulker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sedge Garden FC and the Chewelah AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th match minute, Sedge Garden FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Slimane Aboulker to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Sedge Garden FC booed when Chewelah AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Larbi Haddadj didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nasserredine Saïd-Guerni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hocine Mansouri having to interfere. If Toufik Achiou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Toufik Achiou to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Chewelah AFC booed when Sedge Garden FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Khalida Djeziri didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 51 played minutes Chewelah AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hocine Bourebbou. The audience was convinced that Djamal Belloumi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hocine Mansouri was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Hocine Mansouri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nasserredine Saïd-Guerni in the 54th minute of the match. Amar Boniche kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Hocine Mansouri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nasserredine Saïd-Guerni went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. If Djamal Belloumi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Djamal Belloumi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 65 minutes of play, Sedge Garden FC's Nasserredine Saïd-Guerni made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hocine Mansouri was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Khalida Djeziri during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 71st match minute, Sedge Garden FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Khalida Djeziri to maneuver through the defense. Hocine Bourebbou charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hocine Bourebbou the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 72 played minutes Chewelah AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hocine Bourebbou. Djamal Belloumi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute Djamal Belloumi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hocine Mansouri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toufik Achiou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amrani Daham having to interfere. Chewelah AFC's Hocine Mansouri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Djamal Belloumi in the 91st minute of play. Toufik Achiou struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Amrani Daham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chewelah AFC. The Sedge Garden FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
