Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ali Fadela's late challenge caught a Maywood AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ali Fadela helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th match minute, Rockwell FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Fadela to maneuver through the defense. Ahmed Banouas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Maywood AFC booed when Rockwell FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Menad Otman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Rockwell FC's Albert Adjaoud got a free kick in the 15th minute. Abdelaziz Ibrir was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 17 minutes into the match. Kamel Teissier shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The supporters of Maywood AFC booed when Rockwell FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fawzi Djebar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute Salah Sami Yachir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amar Sakhri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salah Sami Yachir struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Amar Sakhri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rockwell FC. Mehdi Reda Madouni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Amar Sakhri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Salah Sami Yachir notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Maywood AFC's Amar Sakhri. Amar Sakhri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Amar Sakhri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fawzi Djebar in the 39th minute of play. Maywood AFC's Amar Sakhri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salah Sami Yachir in the 40th minute of play. Rockwell FC's Mohamed Arrache pulled a muscle in his leg after 40 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Bouzid Mesbah kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. If Nadir Amri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salah Sami Yachir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amar Sakhri having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nadir Amri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Fawzi Djebar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rockwell FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fawzi Djebar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th minute, Bouzid Mesbah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amar Sakhri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehdi Reda Madouni, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 62 minutes Maywood AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mohamed Kermali who took care of the corner kick. Rockwell FC's Fawzi Djebar managed to work through Maywood AFC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Fawzi Djebar dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Fawzi Djebar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amar Sakhri having to interfere. Mouloud Heddou kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Rockwell FC's Mehdi Reda Madouni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amar Sakhri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fawzi Djebar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amar Sakhri having to interfere. Fawzi Djebar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Amar Sakhri made a huge save. If Albert Adjaoud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the game, Fawzi Djebar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Amar Sakhri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmed Banouas in the 92nd minute of play forced Rockwell FC's goalkeeper Yahia Bezzaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Fawzi Djebar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rockwell FC played a much better game than Maywood AFC and deserved their victory. The Maywood AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
