Spectators: 6705 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1705, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ahmed Khelaifia started the match with the kick off. Carpentersville FC's Smail Deghmani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Carpentersville FC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mohamed Chaib in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Smail Deghmani saved Carpentersville FC from getting behind. Said Bey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Smail Deghmani having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, Carpentersville FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelmalek Zerara to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Noureddine Zahouania managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carpentersville FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Noureddine Zahouania was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rachid Zafour breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rachid Zafour made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmed Khelaifia in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th match minute, Carpentersville FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Bitat to maneuver through the defense. Smail Deghmani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Chaib in the 42nd minute of play. With a little luck, Carpentersville FC's Smail Deghmani got control of the ball when Said Bey tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ahmed Khelaifia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Rachid Zafour tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mohamed Chaib stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Smail Deghmani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Chaib in the 56th minute of play. A collision led to Carpentersville FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Mansour Brahmi hit a great ball. Noureddine Zahouania could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Rachid Zafour made a huge save. In the 66thth minute of the game Ahmed Khelaifia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pennington's Rachid Zafour was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ali Bitat's late challenge caught a Pennington's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ali Bitat helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Carpentersville FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Ali Bitat hit a great ball. Rabah Brahami kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Rachid Zafour showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmed Khelaifia in the 72nd minute of the match. Rachid Zafour stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmed Khelaifia's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Smail Deghmani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Chaib in the 86th minute of play. Ahmed Khelaifia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rachid Zafour showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmed Khelaifia in the 90th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Carpentersville FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
