Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cheb Harkouk took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th match minute, Seaside Heights FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hicham Hima to maneuver through the defense. Jean-Michel Mihoubi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Farès Firoud. Seaside Heights FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Seaside Heights FC's Rafik Zoheir Benchenaa got a free kick in the 6th minute. Jean-Michel Mihoubi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Farès Firoud. Seaside Heights FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mohammad Kaci Tlemcani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karim Ben Bella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rabah Fadela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Malta's Mohammad Kaci Tlemcani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rabah Fadela in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Rafik Zoheir Benchenaa notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Malta's Mohammad Kaci Tlemcani. Mohammad Kaci Tlemcani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karim Ben Bella in the 29th minute of play forced Malta's goalkeeper Mohammad Kaci Tlemcani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Seaside Heights FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cheb Harkouk came free, but Farès Firoud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rabah Fadela took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mohammad Kaci Tlemcani. Mohammad Kaci Tlemcani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Farès Firoud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cheb Harkouk in the 38th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cheb Harkouk in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Farès Firoud prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Farès Firoud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cheb Harkouk in the 45th minute of play. Yazid Soltani who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Farès Firoud when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cheb Harkouk in the 47th minute of play forced Seaside Heights FC's goalkeeper Farès Firoud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rabah Fadela was the one to do the kick off. Farès Firoud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yazid Soltani, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cheb Harkouk in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Farès Firoud saved Seaside Heights FC from getting behind. Rabah Fadela charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rabah Fadela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 62 played minutes Seaside Heights FC got a freekick which was hit by Rabah Fadela. Cheb Harkouk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rabah Fadela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Seaside Heights FC's Farès Firoud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cheb Harkouk in the 70th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Cheb Harkouk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 85 minutes, Cheb Harkouk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cheb Harkouk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Malta booed when Seaside Heights FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelaziz Madouni didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Seaside Heights FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cheb Harkouk came free, but Farès Firoud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cheb Harkouk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Farès Firoud having to interfere. The Seaside Heights FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Seaside Heights FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
