Spectators: 6823 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 100) Crossett's Rabah Radjef started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Noureddine Mimoun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustapha Ighil in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Crossett's goalkeeper Noureddine Mimoun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Noureddine Mimoun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustapha Ighil, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After having played for 20 minutes, Lakhdar Zidān managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Michigan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lakhdar Zidān was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Crossett's Noureddine Mimoun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lakhdar Zidān in the 27th minute of play. Noureddine Mimoun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lakhdar Zidān in the 31st minute of the match. Noureddine Mimoun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lakhdar Zidān, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cheb Liegeon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rabah Radjef had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cheb Liegeon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abdulhamid Kaci Said read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Michigan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rabah Radjef came free, but Abdulhamid Kaci Said reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 51st minute, Lakhdar Zidān hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hameur Raï struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Noureddine Mimoun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Michigan FC. After 55 minutes, Mohamed Ibrir mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crossett and the Michigan FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, Mohamed Ibrir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Crossett's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Lakhdar Zidān scored to the left of an out of position Noureddine Mimoun, making the score, 0-1. 64 minutes into the game, Rabah Radjef cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Abdulhamid Kaci Said was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cheb Liegeon took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdulhamid Kaci Said. Abdulhamid Kaci Said dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Cheb Liegeon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lakhdar Zidān sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Noureddine Mimoun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tayeb Amara in the 76th minute of the match. Rabah Radjef sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the match, Michigan FC's Mustapha Ighil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Noureddine Mimoun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mustapha Ighil's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Noureddine Mimoun skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mustapha Ighil in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. If Mustapha Ighil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Crossett fans cheered their team off the field, for while Michigan FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
