Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tedj Cixous kicked off to start the match. Karim Saïdi-Sief blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Toufik Mekhloufi having to make a save. A collision led to Fruita getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Abdelkader Guendouz hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Fruita's goal looked a bit too open when Cheb Sennaoui came free, but Abdelaziz Amara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Tedj Cixous shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdelaziz Amara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute of the match, Anthar Mohand got a very nice opportunity to score, but Toufik Mekhloufi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 24 played minutes Kannapolis got a freekick which was hit by Cheb Sennaoui. Mamaar Merbah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdelaziz Amara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tedj Cixous's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After some careless play in the Kannapolis defense, Anthar Mohand kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Toufik Mekhloufi. The Kannapolis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Toufik Mekhloufi should have stopped the shot. 37 minutes into the match, Kannapolis's Tedj Cixous sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdelaziz Amara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 41 minutes, Tedj Cixous managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kannapolis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tedj Cixous was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abdelaziz Amara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tedj Cixous went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mamaar Merbah was the one to do the kick off. Rabah Abdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Abdelaziz Amara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Tedj Cixous came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Kannapolis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tedj Cixous couldn't finish the play. Tedj Mansouri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Abdelaziz Amara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Mamaar Merbah had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Toufik Mekhloufi. Kannapolis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mamaar Merbah was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. When Cheb Sennaoui came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Kannapolis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cheb Sennaoui couldn't finish the play. Amrani Nima's late challenge caught a Fruita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amrani Nima helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Fruita booed when Kannapolis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amrani Nima didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Fruita's Anthar Mohand in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kannapolis's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamid Ali in the 74th minute of play forced Fruita's goalkeeper Abdelaziz Amara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Kannapolis's Tedj Mansouri got a free kick in the 77th minute. Toufik Mekhloufi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthar Mohand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Cheb Sennaoui made a precise shot to the right of Abdelaziz Amara. Fruita's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Cheb Sennaoui's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Abdelaziz Amara skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Abdelaziz Amara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tedj Cixous in the 91st minute. Tedj Cixous received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Abdelaziz Amara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Fruita fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kannapolis were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
