Karim Assads short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Leon Tahar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Ali Ihidjaten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Noureddine Kharroubi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Khalida Djamel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bouabdellah Barbarossa having to interfere. Bouabdellah Barbarossa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Noureddine Kharroubi's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Bouabdellah Barbarossa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noureddine Kharroubi in the 33rd minute of the match. A collision led to Fort Gordon getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Daho Menguellet hit a great ball. Fort Gordon's Bouabdellah Barbarossa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noureddine Kharroubi in the 36th minute of play. Leon Tahar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Ihidjaten, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After having played for 45 minutes, Khalida Djamel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Toro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Khalida Djamel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Noureddine Kharroubi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Noureddine Kharroubi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Karim Assad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Tahar came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Fort Gordon's Ali Ihidjaten. But to his dismay, Ali Ihidjaten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in El Toro's zone, Ali Ihidjaten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Tahar came out of the goal and Ali Ihidjaten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Noureddine Kharroubi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Ali Ihidjaten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Fort Gordon's Mehdi Harkouk got a free kick in the 79th minute. A long shot from Adlène Bencherif in the 80th minute of play was well struck, but Bouabdellah Barbarossa made a really good save at the right post. If Noureddine Kharroubi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Ihidjaten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Leon Tahar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fort Gordon fans cheered their team off the field, for while El Toro had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
