In the 36thth minute of the game Maamar Djura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Schertz's Fodil Madjer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fodil Madjer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maamar Djura's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. When Somerset's Mahmoud Boulmerka, in the 40th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Somerset. Abdel Karim Madjer struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Mohammad Khalef didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schertz. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jean-Michel Belkhadem got his second yellow card in the match during the 75th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground.
