Ahmed Adjani kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th match minute, East Palo Alto AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noureddine Al-Jazairia to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute, Abdelaziz Faudel sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and East Palo Alto AFC's Jussef Ben Fellahi didn't even have to move. North Pembroke's Yasmina Ramdane got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mustapha Mecherara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jussef Ben Fellahi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustapha Mecherara in the 13th minute of play. After 14 minutes, Toufik Mérah-Benida made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. North Pembroke's Albert Djahnine tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When North Pembroke's Yasmina Ramdane in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye East Palo Alto AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Albert Djahnine was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Toufik Mérah-Benida showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 24 minute of play. Maamar Bentifour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Djahnine having to interfere. Albert Djahnine made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Toufik Mérah-Benida sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Samir Bouteflika during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for East Palo Alto AFC! Jussef Ben Fellahi had in the 41stth minute some difficulties stopping Abdelaziz Faudel's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 41st minute, Abdelaziz Faudel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The North Pembroke fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Yasmina Ramdane's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jussef Ben Fellahi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maamar Bentifour was the one to do the kick off. Albert Djahnine stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maamar Bentifour's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. 61 minutes into the match, North Pembroke's Yasmina Ramdane sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jussef Ben Fellahi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Maamar Bentifour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. North Pembroke's Albert Djahnine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maamar Bentifour in the 71st minute of play. Mustapha Mecherara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jussef Ben Fellahi having to interfere. After a rather tough play, East Palo Alto AFC's Ahmed Adjani got a free kick in the 75th minute. 75 minutes into the match, North Pembroke's Abdelaziz Faudel broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind East Palo Alto AFC's goalkeeper Jussef Ben Fellahi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Toufik Mérah-Benida managed to get in a good position for a shot. East Palo Alto AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Toufik Mérah-Benida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albert Djahnine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yasmina Ramdane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jussef Ben Fellahi having to interfere. Albert Djahnine didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maamar Bentifour went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. North Pembroke's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
